Nancee TomlinsonÂ’s law practice focuses on criminal, juvenile and family law in Northeast and Central Georgia. As a former felony prosecutor, Nancee Tomlinson has handled a wide range of criminal cases and traffic offenses. She has practiced extensively in juvenile courts as both Guardian ad Litem, counsel for parents and counsel for children charged with delinquent/criminal offenses. During her private practice, she handled divorces, Superior Court Guardian ad Litem work, child support and custody issues.
Nancee Tomlinson attended and graduated from Jasper County High School in Monticello, Georgia. Nancee Tomlinson graduated from the University of Georgia in 1997. She graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 2000 in Atlanta. As a law student, she interned for the late Judge William W. Daniel and the late Judge Joel J. Fryer. Following graduation from law school, Nancee Tomlinson worked as a law clerk in North Georgia. After her clerkship, she worked as a general practice attorney and later Assistant District Attorney. Nancee Tomlinson specialized in prosecuting major felonies in the Superior Courts of Georgia.
In April 2008, Nancee Tomlinson opened her own practice while working parttime as the staff attorney for the Athens Justice Project for one year. Nancee Tomlinson lives in Athens.
